Zone Commuter Permit

As the campus continues to grow, UC Irvine will see a significant loss of parking stalls. In an effort to maintain available parking space, minimize traffic congestion, continue to allow all students to park on campus, and reduce the amount of time spent searching for a parking space, many students will be assigned one of three specific "zones" – defined lots that the student will be permitted to park in during peak hours (Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Zone Commuter permits are not eligible for exchange. These permits are valid on the main campus in any unmarked stall or non-24-hour enforced AR reserved stall Monday through Friday after 5 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. For locations of the lots, click here to download a pdf file containing a campus map with lot locations and instructions.

Free shuttle services are available to all students. For shuttle information, visit www.asuci.uci.edu/shuttle/campus
