Zipcar

The Zipcar program offers cars by the hour or by the day for errands, meetings, or just for having fun.

Interested in joining? New members can sign up for Zipcar on-line. In 5 days, you will receive your Zipcard and you'll be ready to go. There is no membership fee for UCI faculty and staff. Students joining Zipcar pay a $35 membership fee but receive a $35 driving credit for Zipcar use.

The 8 Zipcars on campus cost $7 per hour and $49 per day. The Toyota Sienna van costs $11 per hour and $77 per day. These rates include the cost of the rental, gas, mileage (up to 180 miles a day) and insurance.
